Off to a slow start in terms of work during reading week... just fiddling around with my fake album cover textures. Yes, that is indeed tinfoil. I don't really know what direction I want to take yet- this is only the beginning! Blah. I hope it'll shape up soon.

Oh, and my desktop background typeface flow chart you can see a bit of is by http://julianhansen.com/. I found it printed out on the wall in the school and wanted a (digital) copy for myself! Click that link to see it.

I'm SO sad about not being able to go to Canzine with the amazing January and some others. Next year for sure!!! Maybe we'll even display some zines there, who knows.

I MUST PAINT!!!!
Also, hi Mom!

Looking at it now, it kind of looks a bit traced?! It really isn't...
It seems like I do a lot of digital work on here but that actually isn't the case- I just haven't gotten around to documenting my traditional stuff yet. Stay tuned~

old old stuff (as far back as 2006!)

PhotobucketInfographic assignment.

Photobucket Assignment that was supposed to be based on a conversation I heard. The conversation was "And then they died." "Really?" "Probably. That's their story."
PhotobucketSpot illustration assignment for articles. Top left: married couples in the US who sleep in separate beds. Top right: how the Eiffel Tower shrinks in the winter. Bottom left: millions of toxins are released into the air with every space shuttle launch. Bottom right: children with imaginary friends.

and something from my sketchbook: Photobucket
I need to paint more...

Photobucket Process of my infographic assignment. Everything's all cluttered right now but I'm just getting started! We don't have to delve too deeply into stats and charts yet, but this will be an interesting little exercise. You can also see instructions I placed on how to make an axonometric image so I can always refer back to it while working, it's what I do.
